Radiant Floor & Snow-Melt Heating
Radiant heating turns the floor itself into a gentle, even heat source — and the same resistance-heating principle keeps driveways and walkways clear of snow and ice. We manufacture custom heating cable and coils for both.
Comfort Indoors, Clear Ground Outdoors
Indoors, radiant heating cable is embedded beneath tile, stone, or other flooring. It warms the floor directly, so heat rises evenly through the room — quiet, draft-free, and comfortable underfoot.
Outdoors, the same principle powers snow-melt systems. Cable set into a driveway, walkway, or ramp keeps the surface above freezing, so snow and ice never get a chance to build up. We wind cable and coils to the run length and power density each project calls for.
Why Source Your Cable From Us
Even, Gentle Heat
Warmth radiates evenly across the whole floor — no cold spots, no noisy blowers.
Indoor & Outdoor
The same cable warms interior floors and keeps driveways and walkways clear of snow.
Durable Insulation
Rugged insulated construction rated for embedding in concrete, mortar, or underlayment.
Custom Lengths
Cut and wound to the run length and power density your space actually needs.
Where Our Cable Goes to Work
One resistance-heating principle, a range of indoor-comfort and outdoor-safety applications.
Indoor Floor Warming
Cable embedded under tile, stone, or engineered flooring for quiet, draft-free warmth in baths, kitchens, and living spaces.
Driveway & Ramp Snow-Melt
Heated cable set into concrete or asphalt keeps driveways, ramps, and parking aprons clear all winter.
Walkways, Steps & Patios
Targeted snow-melt for entries, stairs, and walkways where ice is a slip hazard.
Commercial & Roof De-Icing
Larger-run cable for loading docks, commercial entries, and roof and gutter de-icing systems.
How the Cable Is Built
Every run is engineered for where it will live — under a floor or under a driveway.
- Insulation rated for direct embedding in concrete, mortar bed, or self-leveling underlayment
- Cut and wound to the exact run length and watts-per-square-foot your layout calls for
- Built for 120V or 240V supply depending on the size of the run
- Rugged jacketing that stands up to freeze-thaw cycling outdoors
- Single project runs or multi-zone systems for larger areas
Planning the Install
These resources cover how our heating products are made and installed correctly.
What We Need to Build Yours
Every run is made to order. Share as much of the following as you can and our team will recommend the right cable and layout.
- Area or run length to be heated
- Indoor floor heating or outdoor snow-melt
- Supply voltage
- Floor or surface construction (concrete, mortar, underlayment)
- Desired power density or target output
Planning a project?
Send us your floor plan or site dimensions and whether the system is indoor or outdoor. We will help size the cable and quote the run.
Contact our teamRadiant & Snow-Melt FAQ
Can the same heating cable be used indoors and outdoors?
The principle is the same, but the cable is specified differently. Indoor floor-warming runs at a lower power density for comfort underfoot, while outdoor snow-melt runs hotter to keep a surface above freezing in winter. Tell us whether the project is indoor or outdoor and we cut and wind the right cable for it.
How do you size a radiant or snow-melt run?
We size from the area or run length, the supply voltage, the floor or surface construction, and the target output (watts per square foot). Send us your floor plan or site dimensions and we will recommend the run length and power density and quote it.
Can the cable be embedded in concrete?
Yes. Our cable is insulated and jacketed for direct embedding in concrete, mortar beds, and self-leveling underlayment — which is exactly how most driveway snow-melt and many floor-warming systems are installed.
What voltage does radiant heating cable run on?
Smaller indoor floor-warming runs are commonly 120V, while larger floor areas and most outdoor snow-melt systems run on 240V to keep amperage manageable over a long run. We build to whichever supply your project uses.
Do you supply cable for large or commercial projects?
We do. For loading docks, commercial entries, large driveways, and roof de-icing we wind longer runs and multi-zone systems, with tiered pricing on larger orders. Send your dimensions and we will quote the full layout.
