The Skutt KM-1018 is a 10-sided kiln with a wide, shallow chamber — about 23″ across by 18″ deep, 4.6 cubic feet — rated to Cone 10 and drawing 9,460 watts (39.4 amps) at 240V. It heats on four elements: two top/bottom and two center. We wind the full set of four to Skutt's factory resistance so the wide chamber fires evenly.

Is the KS-1018 the same kiln?
Yes. The KS-1018 is the same chamber with a Kiln Sitter instead of the digital controller, and uses the identical set of four elements.
240V or 208V?
We wind to your supply; a 208V set uses different resistance to reach the same wattage.
